I peered out my window. It was the perfect day for the horse show. As i trekked down to the stables, i gazed at the nearing gray clouds, but they didn’t bother me. I clenched Luna’s tack, and saddled her up. “Finally,” i dusted my hands and stared and Luna. She looked gorgeous. As the show began to start, the weather changed dramatically. Horses and owners ran for shelter. Luna reared and towered over me. As she thundered to the ground, mud splattered all over me. “Oh Luna come on!” i lead her under a tree. What a bad day!

I held my breath. ”And the winner of the amazing art festival 2017 is”. The announcer pulled out a small purple card. “congratulations Sophie Martin”. I leapt to my feet and danced around with my mum. The announcer pulled out a large trophy and started to trot towards me. I clenched the golden trophy in my hands. As we walked out of the town hall i beamed down at my art piece. The gleaming cream egg looked spontaneous. And the tiny clay work man couldn’t have looked better. As we hopped in the car adults came and shook my hand. I gleamed.

The sweet aroma of biscuits filled my nose. I leapt up and ran to the oven my hands clenched the oven door i pulled it open. My biscuits were ready. I picked up the plumpest one and stuffed it in my mouth. ”Mmmmmm” i said ”that is was so good!”

I pushed and shoved through the crowd of people. I suddenly caught a glimpse of the gooey cream egg. Work mean surrounded the egg; they held shovels and large spoons. I managed to push my way to the front of the bustling crowd. I finally had a view of the chaos. “WATCH OUT” shrieked a person from the crowd. I raised my head and i saw it… a large bunny striped in white. My feet picked me up and i ran. People fell behind me. I could feel the bunny’s body creeping up behind me. The bunny grasped me tightly…

Shattered glass surrounded my feet i grasped mothers arm. I watched as the tsunami neared our building. That was it the tsunami had arrived. Water kept just gushing out of the stair case. I heard a rumble below my feet. The building collapsed. I felt my limbs fly loose through the sky. My grasp stayed tight on my mothers arm. With a breath of silence i landed in the gushing water. I could see my family’s heads floating on the murky waters surface. A piece of floating rumble neared me i felt a flicker of hope. It was to late….

Raindrops gushed down from the gloomy dark sky. I decided to go for a walk i stomped of through the crisp grass into the forest. The presence of the trees sheltered my body my eyes gazed around the forest a small water fall hid in the mids of the forest. I ventured over to it. The water just kept gushing out of the water fall. A part of me wanted to touch the water fall. So of course i did. As i began to raise my hand to the water fall. I saw a strange golden glow i gingerly shivered.

The rain slashed the ground. The thunder shook the clouds. The lightning lit up the sky. My hot chocolate quenched my mouth. My curious eyes followed the storm on its rampage. In the flash of lightning i saw a nest fall from a nearby tree. I immediately stood up.I slid on my red gumboots and ran outside. I peered inside the nest. A small brown bird was curled in the corner of the nest. I scooped up the bird without hesitation. And ran back inside. I nursed the tiny wee bird in my arms. Its pleasant tweets warmed my heart.
